Project Kickoff Meeting in Jezersko

Over 30 representatives from all 19 AlpStore partner organizations gathered in Jezersko.

 

 

The small municipality together with BSC (Business Support Centre in Kranj) had prepared this lively come together. Mojca Markic, Vice Mayor of Jezersko, welcomed the consortium and presented her interpretation of an alpine storage: rucksacks "with everything you need to survive the long way of a successful project".

 

 

Sina Redlich, project office for AlpStore at the Alpine Space Joint Technical Secretariat, pointed out that AlpStore "contributes to all three priorities of the Programme in terms of topic and objectives". She reported that the jury that selected AlpStore together with eleven other projects pointed out that "AlpStore applies a mountain oriented approach and the exploitation of the endogenous potential through the promotion of power supply sytems adapted to scattered settlements and by using renewable energies present in the Alps".

 

 

In his introductionary speech Ludwig Karg, head of lead partner B.A.U.M., pointed out that AlpStore is "in search for adaptive and cost efficient storage solutions whie respecting differing needs and frameworks in the seven Alpine countries."
