The successful event – organized first time in 2012 - pointed out, that the suitable e-mobility is no longer the dream of the future. Thanks to the successful start in 2012 a further e-rallye event is going to be organized in October 2014.
Up to 30 market-suitable e-cars as well as driver teams will start in Weiz (East Styria) on the 19th of October 2014 and will drive through the lovely routs of East Styria, Burgenland to the city of Heviz (Hungary). On the following day, the e-cars will drive back to the finish in Gleisdorf (East Styria). On these two days up to 365 km should be driven and 13 charging station will be available with one stop in the pilot region ökoEnergieland, in the village Strem.
The dates for the upcoming event were elected consciously for the European Mobility Week, based on the importance of the renewable energy topic as well as e-mobility in this region.
