Last 16th April, at the conference room of the Plenipotenziario Palace in Mantova, the Training Seminar "Intelligent lighting and energy saving, technologies for local authorities” has taken place. The meeting aims to face the topic of the public lighting about new available technologies, intelligent energy systems, adaptive and telecontrolled lighting, and the sustainable energy management. The Seminar was organized by the project ESOLi, financed by Intelligent Energy Europe Programme, coordinated by the Berliner energy agency and with the italian partnership of Gruppo Impresa Finance Brescia.
The speakers were experts and project partners: Gruppo Impresa Finance, Italian Lighting Association, Lighting Europe, Cielo Buio, Bosch, OSRAM, British Telecom and EBP Solutions.
TEA, multiutility of Mantova, presented its project "Public lighting in the province of Mantova” that involves a large number of municipalities, while Agire presented the european project "AlpStore” and its local application: an energy storage in a new electric vehicles charging station connected to photovoltaic plants. The Seminar, introduced by Maurizio Castelli, Councillor of the Province of Mantova, and coordinated by Francesco Dugoni, director of AGIRE, was attended by about 50 people (technical experts, municipal staff, students, etc.)
