In 2012, the worldwide installed photovoltaic electricity generation capacity exceeded 100 GW. It has the potential to increase 2.5 fold within the next 5 years according to the latest Renewable Energy Midterm Market Outlook of the IEA. These findings show that PV is on the right track to become a major electricity source in the coming years.
The EU PVSEC is the largest international Conference for Photovoltaic research, technologies and applications, and at the same time one of the top international PV Industry Exhibitions.
1,752 Research and Industry contributions from 76 countries have been submitted for presentation at the EU PVSEC 2013. All abstracts were reviewed and scored by the international Scientific Committee made up of more than 200 leading research and industry experts from the global PV community.
It gathers the global PV community to conduct business, to network and to present and discuss the latest developments and innovations in Photovoltaics. It is the world renowned science-to-science, business-to-business and science-to-industry platform with a full and only focus on the global PV Solar sector.
